Summer Glau, an American actor, is most well-known for her roles in the roles of River Tam and Cameron in Firefly. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Apart from that, she's starred in TV shows The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow and Sequestered as also guest starring in the shows Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the youngest child that was born to Marcela Quintanilla. Selena started her musical career when she was eight years old. Her father formed an ensemble. Selena joined her elder siblings Abraham Junior, who was playing the bass guitar, and sister Suzette played drums. Selena performed as the leader of the band. Selena Y Los Dino was the name of her band and Selena would sing with other siblings in restaurants, bars and at wedding fairs. It was a lot of demanding for Selena and her siblings so they never had much of an early childhood, but they were encouraged to be dedicated musicians because of perseverance by their father Abraham. Abraham senior was also a musician with the first band, named Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos was officially formed in the year 1981. It was a family business and the main source of revenue for the Quintanilla family. Even though there were times of struggle starting out with very little funds, the Quintanilla family stood firm and persevered with their efforts to become an extremely successful group. Selena Y Los Dinos, a band that gained popularity throughout the West by around the turn of the century was the outcome of their patience. Selena, the lead singer in the group received two awards in the Tejano Awards in 1987: Female Singer of The Year, and also Artist. From that point on Selena Y Los Dinos were one of the most successful winners every year, and they gained notoriety and fame. There were many Spanish television shows that were based in Spanish including El Show De Johnny Canales always in Domingo (Saturday night Gigante) as well as El Show De Johnny Canales every Sunday, were in the spotlight.
