Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on the 20th of July, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her position as the Correspondent for Defence and Space at CNN, she is responsible to cover everything ranging from NASA and its newly created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the advent and growth of space tourism. Kristin has a background in the space sector as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years she's covered space policies under Biden and Trump administrations in FOX News. During that time, she also covered presidential impeachment trials, the 2020 presdiential campaign and two administration's attempts to control the coronavirus pandemic. Additionally, she traveled with President Trump and Vice President Biden often. This included a secret trip with him to Afghanistan.
