Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of TV shows. Family members fled from Afghanistan, and sought for asylum in US. The actress was born in the US. Her middle sister raised her within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air career began with several National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in the Laura Neri's movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For the performance, she received a nomination in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for the Best Actress Award. She appeared as an actress in numerous television series, including How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. She most recently played as a character supporting in Blood Shot (2009). She also appeared as an independent comedian in You Only Better 2009. In 2008, Ghanizada joined the cast of General Hospital.
